Beyond Bulimia

Barack Obama is now President of the United States of America.  I pray that God will guide him and that he will prove to be as great a leader as a lot of people think he is capable of being.  I didn’t vote for the man but I think it is very important that our nation rally behind our elected officials, whether you agree with them or not.  Our pledge of allegiance calls for unity and I think it is something that our nation needs to adhere to. 

One Nation United.  That’s what I pray for. I also pray that our new president is courageous enough to make the tough decisions.  President Bush received a bad rap in the last few years of his presidency and I think that was uncalled for.  Despite your personal opinions about President Bush and the war you do have to give the man credit for keeping our country safe; not once since 9/11 has our country been attacked on American soil, for that I admire President Bush and I’m glad to call him my president.

 I’m all for change, as long as the change is in the right direction.
